Responsible for developing and managing project plans to ensure timely completion of deliverables; track and report project progress, performance, risk and issues to stakeholders within Bath & Body Works Merchandising, Design and Production/Sourcing. In this role, the associate will act as a liaison between the merchants and cross-functional partners in all areas of the business, including development of projects and coordination of decks/information.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of deliverables and expectations supporting the product development cycle and current business reactions
  • Influence business process related to assortment changes throughout the development process and timelines associated with these changes
  • Communication of calendar and deliverables to leadership/ and or broader team; risk assess missed deadlines and develop plans to get teams back on track
  • Oversee product development ratios: track actuals against targets and manage variances against business priorities
  • Ensure product development data integrity; partnering with design ops team from initial concept through to pass off
  • Support preparation for milestone/business meetings
  • Proactive approach to contingency planning and cross functional alignment to support changing business needs
  • Influence decision making across multiple leadership levels to gain cross-functional alignment to achieve on-time execution of projects
  • Ability to analyze data and create modeling that will information decision making through the product development process
  • Develop, document and maintain standard operational procedures, checklists and process flows for related projects that help drive the change management related to the project or initiative
  • Support business meeting agendas as needed, prioritizing based on timelines and business need


Qualifications

5-7 years of related work experience in retail roles that relate to the areas of Merchandising, and/or Product Development

  • Strong project management skillset, with the ability to manage projects from initial scope through implementation and assessment
  • Experience in body/personal care preferred but not required
  • Understanding of end-to-end business process, cross functional responsibilities and process dependencies
  • Strong detail orientation combined with an ability to keep things on track, while still maintaining the quality of working relationships; must be effective time manager
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally and build & sustain relations with peers, direct reports and leadership teams
  • Analytical and dynamic thinker who can think outside the box to reach a solution
  • Ability to create, implement and communicate new processes
  • Demonstrates ability to organize and follow through on projects in a timely and efficient manner
  • Demonstrates ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
  • Software and computer proficiency (MS Office, Outlook, Adobe InDesign)
