    DBC Installation Project Manager

    Digital Building Components is looking for a highly motivated, experienced, hardworking and organized individual to help manage an installation crew of prefabricated cold form steel panels. The opportunity is ideal for a candidate that is looking to be a part of a movement in the construction industry towards prefabrication. This person needs to be ready and willing to travel across the nation to aid in the installation of DBC panels and be involved in everything from safety, planning, production, cost, scheduling, logistics, communication and organization. Successful individuals will possess strong management skills, with the ability to lead a team, gain commitments, and hold team members accountable to their mutual success.

    General Requirements

    • 10+ years of experience with metal stud framing and drywall
    • Scheduling & Planning
    • Cost Control & Projections
    • UL & STC Ratings
    • Drawing Review & RFI Generation
    • 5 years of experience managing design/modeling/detailing activities
    • Experience in leading a team of 5-15 people
    • Excellent listening skills and have strong communication skills
    • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
    • Effective participation in team environment
    • A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude
    • Panelized construction experience, or concrete formwork systems experience
    • General understanding of waterproofing systems exterior skin systems
    • +Experience with multi-story load bearing framing systems (wood or gauge steel)

    Safety

    • Help develop an injury free environment on all job sites for DBC crews
    • Understand recognition and elimination of job site hazards and unsafe work practices
    • Attend and participate in overall jobsite safety meetings
    • +OSHA 10 & 30
    • +Certified Rigging
    • +First Aid & CPR trained (must achieve in first 2 months)

    Technical

    • Ability to read and interpret drawings, sections, details
    • Understand, track and interpret job schedules
    • Track work progress on a daily/weekly basis
    • Review, comment, and mark-up drawings/spool sheets
    • Manage DBC held subcontractors in field (metal panel, caulking, cranes, deliveries, etc.)
    • Schedule and mange jobsite inspection process, interaction with inspectors
    • Ability to use technology for communication
    • Experience with Blue Beam, Revit & Navisworks
    • +Experience with Trimble/Total Station

    Preferred Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, computer science, or similar field with emphasis on construction
