Local User Development Manager

Hallo is an app that allows people to work for themselves in the gig economy; we call the Hallo Helpers. We are looking to add a business development manager to our team in San Juan.

Key Requirements:

• Puerto Rico based
• Fluent in Spanish and able to understand English.
• Flexible Schedule. Able to commit at least 30 hrs. per week
• Available to work Weekends.
• Willingness to perform administrative tasks to achieve company goals efficiently.

• “Problem solver” personality. Natural-born speaker and undaunted by crowds.
• Must have experience with managing sales employees with knowledge in Achieving Company KPIs
• Positive attitude with the willingness to learn.

• Interested in working for a Start-up environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Successful Applicant will spearhead implementation of our local brand awareness strategy to increase user visibility and Helper Acquisition of the Hallo app in the local community.
• Plan out Discovery strategies to inform locals how we can benefit individuals who sign up as Hallo Helpers
• Ensure a consistent messaging to convey our mission in building a stable gig economy in Puerto Rico. Hallo helpers will be the backbone of our platform and we are looking for someone who can find and successfully onboard Hallo helpers with the skills our customers are seeking.

• Successful Applicant will be responsible for pitching the Hallo App to prospective Hallo Helpers and guiding them successfully through the onboarding process until they are fully onboard and ready to get their hustle on in the gig economy.
• Successful applicant will also be responsible for troubleshooting Hallo Helper issues with the App and managing our community of Hallo Helpers.

The idea for hallo was born in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria to solve the problem our founders had with finding reliable skilled helpers to handle everyday tasks, like home cleaning, minor repairs around the house, laundry, moving, etc.
