Job Summary
At GridPoint, Inc., an Installation Manager is responsible for project management and providing direction and guidance for all GridPoint installation projects. A GridPoint Installation Manager has extensive engagement and communication with subcontractors and manages multiple rollouts at any given time.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned rollouts to include internal, vendor and customer communication
- Manage project assignments to multiple subcontractors including pricing, scheduling, and out of scope approvals
- Maintain online CRM / project tracking tools continually to facilitate communication internally and with customers
- Assist subcontractors with review and understanding of scopes of work
- Create labor quotes using excel tools and general facility knowledge along with interaction with vendors
- Communicate with subcontractors regarding quality issues and corrective actions
- Review building drawings, schematics and installation documentation to assist installers and internal teams alike in best installation solutions and troubleshooting site conditions
- 10% Travel Possible
Education/Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (electrical/mechanical) with 2-4 years of experience, or equivalent
- Project Management experience required
- Building automation, HVAC, electrical, and/or building operation experience required
- Proficient skills in schematic drawing software and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)
