    Job Summary

    At GridPoint, Inc., an Installation Manager is responsible for project management and providing direction and guidance for all GridPoint installation projects. A GridPoint Installation Manager has extensive engagement and communication with subcontractors and manages multiple rollouts at any given time.

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities

    • Act as the main point of contact for assigned rollouts to include internal, vendor and customer communication
    • Manage project assignments to multiple subcontractors including pricing, scheduling, and out of scope approvals
    • Maintain online CRM / project tracking tools continually to facilitate communication internally and with customers
    • Assist subcontractors with review and understanding of scopes of work
    • Create labor quotes using excel tools and general facility knowledge along with interaction with vendors
    • Communicate with subcontractors regarding quality issues and corrective actions
    • Review building drawings, schematics and installation documentation to assist installers and internal teams alike in best installation solutions and troubleshooting site conditions
    • 10% Travel Possible

    Education/Experience

    • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (electrical/mechanical) with 2-4 years of experience, or equivalent
    • Project Management experience required
    • Building automation, HVAC, electrical, and/or building operation experience required
    • Proficient skills in schematic drawing software and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)
