The Asset Servicing department is an integral part of the ICG O&T division and has responsibility for processing Corporate Actions and Income events for Firms and clients positions. It is one of the highest risk areas within operations. The unit provides client-orientated support to both the front and middle offices and utilises all processes of the other areas of operations.

The department supports, Prime Brokerage, Stock lending, Firm trading desks, Stock Lending, Repo, SWAPS for both Equity and Fixed Income.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance Asset Servicing Global Client Service structure and framework model for all clients.
  • Build and communicate strategic vision supporting being the best for our clients
  • Create a market leading support and product offering for Asset Servicing globally
  • Establish a governance and feedback processes
  • Tailor service delivery to meet client needs whilst balancing scalability, control and cost
  • Build relationships with Global stake holders
  • Work in partnership with stakeholders, Ops and Technology to deliver client enhancing products in the Asset Servicing space such as swift messaging, Repo Away.
  • Key lead and active participant in the ASPEN strategic development programme
  • Provide senior representation for Asset Servicing at client visits/calls
  • Manage and lead a global team of 8
  • Responsible for people development and career progression
  • Develop existing metrics for Internal and External breakdowns
  • Create client specific metric reporting
  • Identify and resolve themes from metric reporting which will reduce query volumes and improve accuracy of processing Income and Corporate Actions events
  • Create and develop monthly scorecards and metric pack
  • Track progress of actions and benchmarks set following theme analysis
  • Attend business forums and meetings as created by the business areas (weekly, monthly)

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience in Asset Servicing
  • Experience dealing with seniors at Director/MD level.
  • Experience of direct client interaction
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Experience of managing and leading remote teams/supporting global business areas.
  • Exposure to managing tactical and strategic initiatives
  • Risk management experience.
  • Experience of producing senior management presentations/scorecards
  • Experience of performing theme analysis, developing action plans and measuring outcomes.

Qualifications:
