Responsibilities

Business Requirements – Providing functional expertise and executing functional responsibilities:

  • Uses all operational tools to plan for and achieve operational excellence in the store.
  • Ensures adherence to applicable wage and hour laws for nonexempt associates and minors.
  • Solicits customer feedback to understand customer needs and the needs of the local community.
  • Utilizes management information tools and analyzes financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in store performance.

Leadership – Setting goals for the work group, developing organizational capability, and modeling how we work together:

  • Develops the team to deliver legendary customer experiences in all stores.
  • Manages with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, and the values of our company.
  • Plans, identifies, communicates and delegates key responsibilities and practices to the team to ensure smooth flow of operations within the store.
  • Manages through unusual events to keep store operating to standard.
  • Reviews store environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement to provide coaching to the team to take action and achieve operational goals.
  • Drives the implementation of company programs by motivating and supporting the team to develop and implement action plans that meet operational and organizational objectives.

Planning and Execution – Developing strategic and operational plans for the work group, managing execution, and measuring results:

  • Monitors and manages staffing levels.
  • Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective operations at the store level.
  • Responsibility over a P&L, inventory management, other budget or sales targets.
  • Responsibility for managing labor costs (e.g., scheduling hours, controlling overtime, etc.)

Requirements

Summary of Experience Needed

  • General Manager or equivalent level position (1 year)
  • Retail management experience (1 year)
  • Experience analyzing financial reports
  • Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Retail management experience (1 year)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
