Director of Operations

The ideal candidate is responsible for providing direction and support to Distribution Center managers in an assigned region and to analyze the financial performance of the region, to include monitoring expenses. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Formulate, document, and communicate operational plans, standards, and goals as set by Directors, VP of Ops, and EMT
• Travel to DC’s in the region to audit processes, progress, and asset protection
• Analyze performance, both operational and financial, of the DC’s in the region
• Supervises the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensuring quality standards
• Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and development, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff
• Plans organization structure and current job content

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Bachelor degree is required
• 5-7 years of management experience required
• Must possess strong analytical skills to achieve and plan short and long term goals of the company
• Strong Computer/Technical Skills
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively
