Director of Nursing
Cityview Healthcare and Rehabilitation is offering an excellent opportunity for an Director of Nursing.
Job Duties – include assisting the Director of Nursing with, but not limited to:
Ensure the day-to-day operations of the nursing department
Ensure residents receive the highest quality of care possible
Implement plans of action to correct deficiencies.
Participate in interviewing and screening of residents for admission to the facility.
Review nurse’s notes to ensure proper documentation is maintained relating to resident’s treatment, medications and conditions.
Ensure adequate staffing.
Assist with Interviewing, training and supervision of nursing staff.
Complete annual staff evaluations.
Provide initial counseling and disciplinary actions to assigned staff for policy violations, inappropriate actions, and poor performance.
Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the infection control program for monitoring communicable and/or infectious diseases among the residents and personnel.
Requirements – include, but not limited to:
Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the state.
Must have flexible hours.
Must have 5 years previous Director of Nursing experience.
Must have good computer skills.
Must be CPR certified.
