Primary Purpose of Job
Responsible for driving the overall marketing strategy for American Savings Bank (ASB). Manages, evolves, and executes the ASB brand.

Major Job Accountabilities

  • Plans and manages all marketing channels including advertising, digital (paid, SEO, and paid social), email, branch, direct mail, events, promotions, and customer communications.
  • Manages the Bank’s relationships with 4 main agencies (AOR, paid digital, website, and SEO)
  • Responsible for overall campaign management, strategic marketing plan and calendar, and campaign execution.
  • Incorporates a data-driven results discipline to optimize marketing spend.
  • Collaborates across all aspects of the Bank particularly with product management and retail leadership.
  • Innovation in marketing and customer engagement.
  • Drives key performance indications: Primary Bank, Active Online, and Relationship Expansion.

    Education Requirements
    Four-year college degree majoring in Marketing or other related fields, or equivalent combination of work experience and education

    Experience Required

  • Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of work experience in brand and advertising experience, to include planning and executing advertising/marketing programs with wide scope and impact and involving creative oversight
  • Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of work experience in vendor management
  • Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of work experience in managerial experience

    Required Skills or Training

  • Able to drive innovation in marketing and customer engagement.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (data-driven; knows how to leverage metrics).
  • Strong leadership, organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communications and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with retail banking, or at least a consumer-related industry, preferred.
