Main Purpose of Job:
- Develops and manages to the strategic marketing plan for products within the Institutional Market, focusing on the Acute Care, Home Care and Long-term Care channels – targeting Health Care Professionals, healthcare business decision makers, and patients/caregivers. This includes developing the annual marketing plan, defining the strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve sales objectives for our disease-specific and other product platforms.
- Lead the annual Integrated Commercial Planning Process (ICP) for the Medical Nutrition business
- Establishes and oversees the internal creative review and approval process for advertising and sales materials. Manages relationship with creative agencies.
- Leads a marketing team that provides strategic and tactical leadership and direction to the organization in the design, development, and implementation of products, programs, messaging, and selling tools.
- Participate in pricing decisions for established business as well as current and new product launches to meet the company’s sales and profit goals.
- Provides leadership, direction and management of market research, and leveraging of customer and patient insights.
- Oversee execution and measurement of marketing plans (long and short-term) to assure all marketing communications are well coordinated and executed cross-functionally within the business (to include Sales, R&D, Operations, etc.) and that use of resources (people are dollars) is optimal.
- Guarantees full US business (MN and CC) success by working closely with the Directors of Marketing to coordinate relevant strategies and execution across the two areas. Provides input and support to the Company’s leadership in the development of joint ventures, affiliations and partnership arrangements in the Consumer Care area.
- Provide marketing skills and expertise to the Company by building, developing and leading teams capable of carrying out the necessary marketing and business strategies and tactics. Leads and motivates the team to creative problem resolution to meet the challenges of the department and the business.

This position is responsible for the leadership of all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and achieving marketing targets for Nestle Health Science’s Medical Nutrition business in the U.S. Accountable for business planning and marketing management of the institutional business for the Aging Care, Pediatric Care, Critical Care/Surgery, GI platforms and National Accounts Marketing. This role leads a team of Managers and works very collaboratively with cross-functional leaders to drive NHSc’s leadership position and portfolio development in the U.S.
Key Outputs:
• Provide leadership and direction of the innovation, market research, digital and creative services in support of the Medical Nutrition business in the US. Identify annual market research needs and initiate timely activation of research projects; Collaborate with Consumer Insights group to design/execute research studies; • • Provide summary of learning, implications and recommended action steps from study results. Execution of package graphics updates as needed; Collaborate with R&D team for development of Innovation opportunities; Execution of innovation/product news.

Qualifications

Key Experiences:
- BA in business, healthcare administration, and marketing or a related discipline or related experience
- MBA
- 10 years in healthcare or CPG marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in healthcare
- 5 years management experience
