The Radiation Clinical Support Manager is the first point of contact to direct the daily workflow of reception and finance insurance staff across multiple hospital-based sub specialty and satellite clinics to ensure consistency in the operations at each location and the performance standards of each employee.
Responsible for implementation of integrated operations and staff education programs; administers policies pertaining to payroll, training, orientation and performance evaluation of staff; coordinates and administers compliance and initial staff training for registration, insurance/payor, coordination of multidisciplinary cancer appointments and ensures adequate staffing levels are maintained.
Supports all areas of Radiation management to ensure compliance and quality control.
Knowledge of patient intake.
Knowledge of medical clinic workflows.
Knowledge of medical insurance processes.
Bachelors degree with three or more years experience or equivalent with use of windows-based computer systems and a familiarity with therapeutic and administrative procedures preferred.
Proficient with Mosaiq/ARIA or other Radiation Information Systems preferred.
