Comfortcare Transportation is a locally-owned company that provides safe, comfortable non-emergency medical transport in metro and surrounding areas.

As the Business Office Manager, you will enact the overall Business Office activities as directed by the Administrator, to assure the proper administrative procedures are maintained (in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations).

The ideal Business Office Manager will have experience in non-emergency medical transport, and home healthcare, such as billing, accounts receivable and be familiar with the Admissions process as well as a strong team player, able to communicate in a firm and professional manner, and be driven to succeed.

Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects

Able to maintain an approachable and appropriate attitude when interacting with all levels of personnel in a rapidly changing environment

Must have great customer service experience, excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Financial Prescreening, running insurance verification
  • Strong grasp of Medicaid billing process
  • Appeal Denial Claims
  • Medical Assistance understanding and billing
  • Working with patients and families on finances and collection money owed
  • Oversees drivers trip logs
  • Bills private pay bills
  • Streamlines AP to corporate for processing
  • Posting cash
  • Strong understanding of admissions process
