  • Full Job Description

    · Responsible for the accounting operations of the company, including the production of financial reports and financial statements and ensuring that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

    · Responsible for the accurate input and output of all financial information and supervision of accounting clerks. Assists and provides backup for all accounting staff

    · Maintains a system of controls over accounting transactions.

    · Monitors accounts payable, customer deposits, payroll and inbound freight for discrepancies and reconciles to general ledger accounts

    · Recommends benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations

    · Prepares annual budget and forecasts and reports significant issues to management.

    · Prepares biweekly inventory reports for management team

    · Provides financial analysis as needed to department managers

    · Coordinates the preparation of the corporate tax return

    · Complies with and prepares all government reporting requirements including sales tax returns, personal property returns, workers compensation reports, payroll reports and various governmental surveys

    · Monitors and maintains fixed assets

    · Assists CFO with banking duties, check writing and insurance renewals

    · Prepares bank reconciliations

    · Maintains the chart of accounts

    · Provides administrative support to management as needed.

    · Manage any special projects as requested by LKC or VSK. These can include: Product Line-Up Photo linking, Special Order tracking, Productivity improvement or other Process Improvement activities as need.

    · Coordinate and run the monthly Management Meeting, publish agenda and publish minutes

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $26.00 to $28.00 /hour
