U.S. Xpress is seeking a passionate and eager Vice President of Driver Recruiting. This is an awesome opportunity to get in with and impact the fifth largest asset-based truckload carrier in the U.S with over $1.8 billion in revenue. This VP of Driver Recruiting will lead the development and execution of our driver recruiting strategy supporting U.S. Xpress’s strategic vision and values.
This role will lead and mentor all members of the Recruiting team with a focus on people management capability, industry knowledge and innovation. Identify new and creative ways to source viable candidates including contact lists, database leads, internet resources and personal networking, while reducing cost and time per hire by increasing efficiency through innovation. Develop strategies to attract qualified professional drivers. Execute the desired mix of company drivers and independent contractors within the fleet growth plan. Design, implement and maintain processes, tools, and systems needed to scale and support the recruiting team in the short and long-term. Ensure compliance with all regulations and policies impacting all driver services functions.
