    Vice President of Real Estate

    Retro Fitness is currently seeking a driven Vice President of Real Estate to join our growing team in West Palm Beach, FL

    About the role:

    · You will be responsible for development efforts focusing primarily on securing new locations and upgrading/relocating existing sites. The position will also manage key strategic property-owner partner relationships with whom a substantial number of existing site agreements reside, and new opportunities are potentially created. This responsibility is distinct from the company’s ongoing asset management efforts around its many thousands of existing site arrangements.

    What you’ll do, includes, but not limited to:

    • Responsible for executing against company go to market strategy for both infill and emerging markets
    • Build and nurture relationships with real estate developers, brokers, landlords, etc.
    • Work in partnership with the CEO and executive leaders to ensure that real estate is seamlessly integrated with other departments.
    • Negotiate and structure deals by leveraging other headquarter resources including teams dedicated to market analysis underwriting and public policy stakeholders.
    • Identify, plan and execute appropriate systems solutions that meet both short- and long-term growth requirements.
    • Define KPIs and equip internal teams to monitor and benchmark success to meet and exceed targets.
    • Manage all property and capital assets ensuring that each property is properly maintained with a focus on providing financially self-sustainable solutions.
    • Maximize the performance and value of real estate assets by developing and implementing aggressive negotiation strategies for leasing requirements.
    • Manage the existing real estate portfolio including lease renewals and the optimization of operational costs.
    • Analyze new site financials by preparing real estate pro formas for business review.

    Our ideal candidate:

    Education and Experience

    • Must have Commercial Real Estate License
    • 5+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate
    • Proven track record of strong results in creating real estate pipeline
    • Technical expertise with procuring, utilizing and enhancing real estate software
    • Knowledge of contracts, negotiating, and change management
    • Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters preferred or relevant experience
    • Franchise experience is a must
    • Fitness industry experience preferred.
    • Travel will be required as the business needs come up

    Skills and Abilities

    • Strong supervisory skills with proven experience leading a successful sales organization.
    • Strong planning, organizational, motivational, interpersonal and analytical skills
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Strong computer skills
    • Will work closely and collaboratively with construction, franchise development, and operations.
