About the Job:
Gulfstar Industries, an established oil & gas services company is launching a new technology services company. We are seeking a Vice President of Enterprise Sales, to spearhead sales and marketing. This position will require established industry experience, relationships and influence.
Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Strong business acumen with proven success in creating business plans and building sales pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of current and new technologies trends and developments.
- Identify, track, and close new business to ensure ongoing growth and new opportunities in our targeted markets and project types.
- Support completion of SWOT analyses to fully understand customers? needs and demands for new products and service lines; and develop differentiated programs to fulfill those needs.
- Develop annual and monthly forecasting of sales revenue, volumes, margins, and expense budgets. Implement corrective actions when needed throughout the fiscal year.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for revenue, profitability, market growth, and customer satisfaction to track performance and provide feedback to stakeholders.
- Partner with the management team to analyze the general economic and financial conditions and take appropriate measures to ensure the company?s strategic short-term and long-term goals are met and match company resources.
Required Job Skills/ Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree preferred
- 10+ years selling experience in the IT space (or related)
- Familiarity with Dell EMC, HP, Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, (among others) and Managed Services preferred.
- Well-developed relationship management skills and consultative selling approach.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to generate effective business-to-business sales relationships at both executive and engineering management levels.
- Ability to recognize sales opportunities and pursue such opportunities with minimal assistance.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Must be located in Houston, TX.
Minimum Job Requirements
Must be Eighteen (18) years or older and legally able to work within the Continental United States; stable work history.
Compensation:
- Compensation includes an attractive base salary, annual profit-sharing and a potential for earned equity sharing in company and comprehensive benefits.
- $150 – $200 + possible bonus structure.
