Vice President of Development

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has a career opportunity for a Vice President of Development. This opportunity is available in our San Diego office, and we are seeking a highly motivated individual with a minimum of 7 years of experience in multi-family and/or senior housing development.

Responsibilities will include strategically pursuing local and national development opportunities. The Vice President will lead the pursuit of potential development sites and projects and will be responsible for executing and/or leading execution teams on projects; The role involves developing and maintaining effective marketing and sales strategies; and building and nurturing on-going customer and brokerage relationships for Ryan.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelors’ degree and the experience and skillset needed to successfully identify and control potential project sites, underwrite opportunities, assist in design and construction, and market and lease development projects. The candidate should be currently recognized in the marketplace as an experienced developer with excellent market knowledge and a proven track record of establishing and maintaining positive broker and customer relationships. The position requires solid financial skills with the ability to assess project feasibility. Strong communication skills are also needed to be effective in a collaborative organization.
