Position Summary
Reporting to the Chief Services and Operations Officer of Chubb Global Claims, the Claims Digital Lead is responsible for setting the strategy and vision for an end-to-end digital claims experience, as part of our broader Digital strategy. The Digital Lead works closely with Claims senior leadership and global IT and Digital leadership to conceptualize, design and deliver a portfolio of Digital Programs that enhance the customer experience, including self-service capabilities, straight through processing and electronic payment options. This position will be based in our Jersey City, NJ office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop the Digital strategy vision, priorities, and roadmap for Claims to transform the customer experience and drive operational improvements.
- Lead a team of Claim product owners and business analysts to design and develop requirements in support of the Digital roadmap.
- Drive research, analysis, and insights that lead to actionable recommendations to improve the customer experience
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization to obtain buy-in on Digital priorities and budgets.
- Lead and support future state process mapping, customer journey mappings, design thinking, negotiations, problem solving and consultative thinking.
- Collaborate with Automation and Re-engineering teams to identify pain points, align on opportunities, and implement solutions to achieve operational improvements.
- Serve as a change agent within the organization to challenge the status-quo and continuously reimagine the claim customer journey.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of leadership and management experience including the ability to drive high performing teams and execution of complex strategic initiatives.
- Experience leading and managing teams through transformational change
- Insurance experience, especially in claims is strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with senior executives and articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms.
- Customer-focused mindset with relentless focus on removing friction from customer journey
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and use influence skills to lead cross-functional teams in delivering initiatives.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with proven ability to navigate, influence, and negotiate across all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to create compelling executive presentations and business plans.
- Familiarity with Agile Methodology
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field – advanced degree a plus.
