RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Richardson, TX. Goldman Sachs has recently adopted BPM development platforms such as Pega for custom app development. The Vice President will serve as a Solutions Architect to design and build business-critical case management and business process automation apps that will enable us to provide an industry leading customer experience. Lead the implementation effort by coordinating with delivery teams, including development, infrastructure and program management, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the Pega applications. Be responsible for a wide breadth of technical delivery for various customer service applications, including architecture, planning, process model design, integrations and general implementation of Pega components. Perform root cause analysis and address defects. Engage different IT functions (Architecture, Middleware, DevOps, and Testing) for product demonstrations to manage expectations and ensure that the application meets technical requirements and are maintainable. Work with other Solutions Architects on design collaboration and review to ensure Pega applications align with the enterprise initiatives. Define and architect IT services as they relate to business processes, as well as translate IT services to business terms that can be presented to senior business management. Establish the deployment process and standards for projects. Work with agile development methodology and contribute estimates to the planning process.

Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field, with four (4) years of experience in the offered role or a related BPM development role or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field, with six (6) years of experience in the offered role or a related BPM development role. Prior experience must include at least four (4) years of experience (if Master’s degree) or six (6) years of experience (if Bachelor’s degree) with: Building BPM applications with any of the leading BPM platforms, such as Pega / Appian / IBM BPM; Applying knowledge of Agile methodology and working as part of Agile/SCRUM teams; Scoping, planning and delivering full life cycle development projects; Designing integration experience using REST, SOAP or other related protocols; Proposing application development solutions and determining application architecture; Relying on knowledge of Pega 7 platform implementation, including all aspects of the product and delivery methodology; Developing and managing Workflows, User Interfaces (using Sections and Harness rules), Activities, Utility and Decision rules; Using APIs to integrate the Pega platform with other micro-services; Applying knowledge of Java, Java Script, SQL, and Web Services; Designing integrations using PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) and designing integration components for frameworks in Financial Services; Applying knowledge of Performance Tuning (such as PAL, Log Analyzer, DB Tracer/Preflight); and Designing and implementing complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies, such as LDAP, Active Directory, Security and other internal systems in the enterprise. Certification Required: Pega Certification.
