Job Summary

The Vice President and General Manager, Opioid SafetyNet, is responsible for driving the commercial sales, product, marketing, distribution, and support strategy for our safety products marketed as direct-to-consumer or for consumers through prescription. The General Manager will use expertise in product management, brand management, consumer advertising and digital marketing, healthcare and consumer distribution, market development, key opinion leader engagement, and leadership to attract and support consumers/patients using our products to increase safety in the home setting.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform market research to identify highest priority consumer/patient segments for company’s products
  • Define future product requirements that will drive adoption and sustainable competitive advantages;
  • Create brand and product positioning strategy;
  • Assess pricing and business model options to optimize demand;
  • Deploy direct to consumer/patient marketing programs through a variety of mediums to increase awareness and drive qualified leads that turn into customers/users;
  • Build engagement programs and support infrastructure that delivers customer loyalty and referrals;
  • Identify, build, and maintain rapport with key opinion leaders;
  • Determine distribution strategy and attract partners to optimize market penetration and net margin;
  • Establish key performance indicators for the business;
  • Assess team personnel needs and recruit, train, and lead team to successful completion of objectives;
  • Educate and work with stakeholders across the business and with our partners to implement the strategy, initiatives and programs;
  • Ensure effective and frequent internal communication of key initiatives;
  • Develop and implement an innovative communication strategy using progressive methods and technology;

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years industry or marketing experience
  • Commercial sales experience including P/L responsibility;
  • High level analytical skills required to identify and validate opportunities;
  • Strong collaboration skills needed to communicate, refine and advocate for solutions;
  • Consumer/patient health marketing focus as multiple successful new product launches;
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal and experience presenting to a high-level audience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven history of developing and inspiring cross-functional teams;
  • Proven success in the securing of new business from market research and commercial solution development;
  • Broad knowledge of consumer/patient health segments and commercial operations;
  • Skilled at identifying, developing and presenting commercially attractive business opportunities, both internally and to potential customers;
  • Strong stakeholder and customer management ability.


Education

Bachelor degree in Engineering or Lifesciences or related discipline.
MBA preferred.


Physical requirements/Work Environment

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Travel is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required.
