Overview
The Senior Vice President, CompuCom Marketing will be responsible for growing company services/product/revenue through the successful creation of partner programs as well as building the CompuCom brand by developing a clearly differentiated brand positioning, brand guidelines and implementing integrated marketing communication plans for all offerings under the firmâs product portfolio. This individual will be directly responsible for identifying/leveraging top talent to promote business development across all aspects of the CompuCom enterprise strategy; includes brand strategy/identity, brand governance, integrated promotions, broadcast advertising, media planning, market research, multicultural marketing, product-focused marketing, and direct mail. In addition, this individual is responsible for ensuring the appropriate level of engagement with Office Depot. This is an executive leadership role reporting to the President of CompuCom and held directly accountable establishing the strategic marketing communication initiatives of the company
Responsibilities
- Build a recognized brand that is respected as an industry leader and align the CompuCom organization around successful marketing strategies through education, influence and strong business partnerships. Manage and maximize the long-term value, equity and performance of the CompuCom brand.
- Execute the CompuCom sales plan to exceed targets and to grow market share
- Dive core business results through Regional General Managers/Head of Sales, along with other identified internal/external key strategic partnerships
- Design and lead the annual planning process for all marketing activity, which includes the development of a comprehensive annual calendar of all events.
- Manage the growth of brand awareness, equity, and the consistency of brand identity, ensuring that all marketing activities are aligned with brand strategy and directly tied to sales growth
- Manage brand strategy, brand identity and architecture, advertising creative, media planning and buying, integrated campaigns and multicultural marketing.
- Recruit, inspire, mentor, and develop a team of professionals in both channel sales and marketing / branding around a common shared vision and to create a top-notch organization.
- Create and manages the processes to link brand strategy to marketing communications activities. Oversees development and execution of innovative integrated promotional campaigns that cross channels and drive effective campaigns that stimulate sales growth activity
- Direct and manage all advertising development and execution, driving business growth through the effective management of brand and general marketing initiatives, media planning and the creative process.
- Leads and manages the entire brand and product marketing organizations. Act as the key liaison with agency management personnel, providing the strategic direction and lead to appropriate resources responsible for broadcast advertising, multicultural advertising, and media and all other creative expressions by channel
- Create and manage annual budgets, ensuring all activities are executed on time and on budget
- Be a thought leader about potential marketing/branding strategies for CompuCom including idea generation, sponsorships, and strategic alliances.
- Actively engages appropriate resources to identify ways to improve overall efficiencies in processes both internal and external to streamline the engagement process and optimize effective utilization of resources and programs.
- Leads the development and refinement of key metrics that serves as a central intelligence system and repository of all marketing activity.
- Leads and provides direction to the Head of Internal Communications, the Head of Industry Relations & Competitive Intelligence, Head of Creative Design and the Head of Product Development.
Qualifications
- 12-15 years of direct experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
- Advanced degree in Marketing, Business Management, or other applicable field
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in working with an executive team, and other professional groups/committees.
- Strong understanding of the business with the ability to perform analysis and function in a goal oriented atmosphere
