What Success Looks Like:
- Identify, grow, and maintain key relationships with RIA’s to gain market share of Transamerica annuity products.
- Build and execute on an effective territory management plan that engages assigned internal distribution partners, encourages proactive industry networking, and allows for effective support of the immediate team as well as the larger organization.
- Utilize relationship management and sales skills to serve as a subject matter expert.
- Drive long term relationships through effective structuring and negotiations of contracts and agreements with various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, such as sales, product, and functional leadership.
- Execute on business plans and meet key activity and sales metrics as established by the organization.
- Attend regional RIA conferences and conduct in person meetings to provide education to RIA’s.
- Demonstrate mastery of annuity products, utilization of thought leadership content on wealth and health related concepts, and general financial education.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business related field or equivalent work experience
- Five years of financial services industry experience, including three years working directly with RIA’s
- FINRA Series 7 and 63
- Excellent understanding of investing, asset allocation, and capital markets
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
- Excellent presentation, writing, and analytical skills to engage with clients, prospects, and sub advisors in the areas of financial analysis and planning, life events, and economic topics
- Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency using MS Office tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five years of external sales experience
- CFA, CIMA, CFP, CPA or other relevant designations
- Knowledge of Transamerica annuities and TAA product features
Working Conditions:
- Office environment or work remote from home
- Extensive travel in territory (75%)
