Regional Head of China Advisory Business

Starr Insurance Holdings Inc.

Duties:

• Direct the company’s China-focused business development operations and expansion of China-related consulting, focusing on the Shanghai region.
• Direct and coordinate the fundamental analysis and research underpinning investment activities and financing focused on the U.S. and China matters, providing investment and risk management solutions to Chinese investors and their U.S. business counterparts;
• Conduct and/or oversee financial and economic analysis and modeling and valuation of companies based on quantitative analysis of information related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and financing of projects in the U.S. and China;
• Lead and interpret data on future investment risk trends, economic influences and work closely with Starr’s China organizations on cross border financial services business opportunities including investment and insurance, focusing on the Shanghai region;
• Develop the Company’s China-related business plan to maximize the company’s China business position, focusing on investors in the Shanghai region; and
• Participate in key management activities, including advising on project, activities, and with senior management.
• Position requires travel 40% of time, both international and domestic

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Financial Management, or a related field
• Two (2) years of experience working in the financial services industry formulating and executing investment related M&A and financing projects in China, with a focus on the Shanghai region.
