What You’ll Be Doing:
The Project Manager will work closely with the Government Project Manager to ensure that all task requirements and requests are addressed in a timely and professional manner, and to address all problems that arise in the process of developing Collaborative. The Project Manager shall also engage the various aspects of Program, Division, Branch and offices to understand their requirements for functionality and presence. This position will require meeting with and representing the team with various client programs and offices. This position will manage all subprojects’ progress from creation through deployment and will track the various elements associated with establishing sites and applications.
The environment serves as a robust collaboration platform as well as the platform for numerous individual applications and tools that enable users to perform their jobs in support of the mission. This project will involve supporting this platform, which requires sustaining a large variety of tools and technologies leveraged by these applications. Over the course of the project, we will leverage new technical features to expand the capabilities of the applications to support the business and the mission functions. This position will perform the following:
- Gather Requirements from customers and create associated documentation
- Work with developers to estimate and build solutions
- Lead projects through agile development methodologies
- Work with team and other project managers to plan direction of project initiatives
- Lead team in analysis and governance of expansion to new technologies
- Mentor more junior members of team
- Work administratively to ensure policies/security of project and contract
Required Skills and Experience:
- Must possess O365 and SharePoint technical experience including troubleshooting / problem solving skills
- Project Management skills / experience
- Experience leading cross functional teams in complex system implementation and integration projects
- Ability to work in a demanding and deadline driven environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Agile development experience
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with TFS/AzureDevOps, JIRA or a similar story tracking tool
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possess an active PMP or PMI certification or equivalent management certification
Clearance: Public Trust or ability to obtain; EOD preferred
