The Project Manager is responsible for organizing programs and activities, developing programs to support the organization’s strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals. The program manager will also be in charge of developing budgets and operating plans for programs and writing program funding proposals.

The ideal candidate will possess superior analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, be a strong team player, and have the ability to establish solid working relationships with technical staff members and peers within the division as well as our external Government customers. Experience with C4ISR systems; hardware/software fabrication; vehicle/platform system integration; and/or test and evaluation is a plus. The candidate will need to have prior experience in both project management and team management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day operations support of contract, subcontract, finance, security, staffing, and procurement
  • Monitor and manage program performance, risk, cost and schedule; quality review and submission of all deliverables
  • Lead your program teams, and interface with Customer
  • Prepare contract modification proposals (technical and cost)
  • Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
  • Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization
  • Creating and managing long-term goals
  • Developing a budget and operating plan for the program
  • Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
  • Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services
  • Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance
  • Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved
  • Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services
  • Working on strategy with the marketing team

Qualifications:

  • Excellent briefing, writing, communication, administrative, and organizational skills
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently, under stringent timelines Capture experience: planning and proposal writing
  • Current Secret clearance or ability to obtain and hold a Secret clearance
