Peikko USA a subsidiary of The Peikko Group is seeking a Highly organized individual for a Project Manager position for our U.S Market Segment. This person will be responsible for the Management of Peikko Projects in the United States. Which includes coordination of Estimation, preparing quotations, reading construction drawings, close communication with client base, handling of all deliveries for all ongoing projects with the U.S, ability to problem solve, ability to support the West Coast Sales Representative when needed, work hand in hand with Production Manager of PA Facility. After training period the majority of hours can be worked from home and the position will not require much time on site. Candidates must be familiar with commercial construction specializing in the following areas. Residential, Multi-Use, Public Works, Infastructre, Hospitality etc.⌠A 4 year BA/BS degree is preferred but equivalent (3-5 years) industry experience will be considered.
- Estimation / Take-Off Compiling the quantities of stud rails present in structural plan drawings
- Preparing quotations based on quantities of stud rails found in the structural plan drawings
- Contacting the Engineer of record of the project in case the information in the plans is incorrect, incomplete or misleading
- Project Coordination
- Making sure the right stud rails are delivered at the right time on the various projects
- Coordinating with production to make sure we can meet the projectsâ schedules
- Ensuring clients needs are met as the project evolves
Skills/Qualifications:
Good Verbal & Written Communication Skills
Microsoft Office Skills, Excel & Basic Auto-CAD Skills, Bluebeam experience is a plus
