Job Description:
This position will be focusing on digital products and security services aligning with Texas Health Consumer Experience Office. As Texas Health move forward with the execution of the consumer-focused business strategy, information security alignment with cross functional teams and shared services is important to overall success. This position will perform governance and risk management security alignment with consumer business strategies. In addition, responsibilities will include security architecture with agile and DevOps delivery process and communicate and support Information Security program and services.

Qualifications


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field is required
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field is preferred
  • Five (5) years Previous experience to include a combination roles in Information Security Programming; Software Development Lifecycle Interaction; Consumer Solutions, Products and Services; Application Security Testing is required
Licenses and Certifications:
  • CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional required upon hire
  • CISM – Certified Information Security Manager required upon hire
Skills:
  • Ability to work closely with project managers, program managers and solutions architects to ensure adequate security solutions and security controls are in place throughout all consumer systems and platforms.
  • Possess strong understating of application security; with solid knowledge of SDLC from design, testing, deployment to post production and the different risk elements associated with each step.
  • Must have knowledge and experience with DevOps/operational support in distributed systems environments.
  • Familiar with Agile software development practices and infrastructure-as-code provisioning and configuration.
  • Expertise with aligning security requirements and Agile software development stories.
  • Experience with Active Directory, SSO, and directory federation (SAML, OKTA)
  • Knowledge of consumer-based Identity and Access Management solutions (Jainrain).
  • Must have experience with security control implementation on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure. Oracle OCI, GCS)
  • Experience working with or developing testing architectures for scalable, high performance, distributed systems and services, running on private and public cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Oracle OCI, GCS).
  • Experience with Cloud based Client Relation Management applications, such as Salesforce or ServiceNow.
  • Understanding the different cloud delivery services such as SaaS, IaaS and PaaS.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse architecture such as data warehouse access controls, data warehouse access management and reporting.
  • Understanding of web applications and mobile application secure architecture.
  • Understanding of microservices and distributed application architecture.
  • Knowledge of IP networking, VPN’s, DNS, load balancing and firewall.
  • Knowledge of DevOps CI/CD release management processes and source control/pipeline systems
  • Experience with static code testing and dynamic application code testing (Veracode, Testrail).
  • Experience leading the certification or accreditation of cloud workload(s) to meet industry standards such as PCI DSS,
  • HIPAA, and NIST frameworks.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations and engagements
  • Experience with DevOps, ITIL, Cloud Services, IT Infrastructure and Operations, including environment standup, server builds, firewalls with security and compliance. Scripting languages are preferred
  • Familiar with container-based cloud architecture and deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations and engagements.
