Responsibilities include:

(a) Assisting in developing and streamlining processes to effectively execute logistics and preparation of documents for both domestic and international sales;

(b) Assisting in the hiring process and subsequent training of Export Administrators;

(c) Reviewing and approving purchase orders and corresponding sales costings (if applicable) to ensure completeness, accuracy, and profitability of sales and to ensure capability and sufficient resources for successful execution;

(d) Assigning and reviewing work prepared by Export Administrators to ensure documents are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and according to importing country-based standards and trade regulations;

(e) Developing customer service protocol outlining how to correspond and communicate with vendors, clients, and service providers to establish company’s good standing and uphold professional reputation;

(f) Functioning as liaison between Export Administrators and Accounting Department by ensuring all revenue is recognized and recorded in a timely manner and expenses are accurately allocated to corresponding sales orders;

(g) Assisting in website design and overall company branding;

Requirements:
– Excellent oral and written communication skills (Must be comfortable making phone calls, talking to vendors including transportation vendors, suppliers, co-packers, etc., writing clear and concise emails and being responsive)
– Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills (Able to identify problems and recommend solutions for improvement, seeks to understand the “why” behind a task)
– Bachelor’s Degree
– Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
– Self-starter (Able to analyze available information and take calculated risks)
– Ability to multi-task at any given time
– Punctual and reliable
– Works well in a team environment
– Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license

Preferred:
– Logistics and supply chain management experience
– Data entry/database management experience
– Foodservice distribution experience
