Responsibilities:
- Primary role will be as the Lead Project Manager for all location moves, adds, and changes. Coordinating and tracking IT tasks, as well as overall Support Team tasks.
- Assessing the requirements of the project and recommending suitable IT components
- Lead the planning and implementation of location moves, adds, and changes projects
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Develop full scale project plans
- Assemble and coordinate project staff
- Manage project budget and project resource allocation
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Provide direction and support to project team
- Quality assurance
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Project evaluations and assessment of results
- Document project meeting information including tasks, action items, and timelines
- Once have mastered the role of Project Manager for location moves, adds, and changes, will then add Enterprise Projects to the role
Skills/Experience Required:
§ Bachelor’s degree is required
§ Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience and/or equivalent
§ Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
§ Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
§ Strong leadership skills while still exhibiting strong team player qualities
§ Proven experience in people and time management
§ Proven experience in risk management and change management
§ Proficient in project management software
§ Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
§ Outstanding planning, organization, troubleshooting, and problem solving abilities
§ Outstanding management and leadership qualities
§ Proven ability to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams
§ Creative and business focused clear thinker with good problem solving skills
§ Ability to work independently, multi-task, and be a strong, proactive team player
