POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for executing the management of key Retail initiatives spearheaded by the Chief Retail Banking Officer, including specific initiatives that drive the strategic agenda of Branch Transformation, including but limited to automation of digital technology, Branch Rationalization and Modeling. Partner with the Retail Leadership, Operations, Sales, Technology, Human Resources, Training, and Marketing on a day to day basis and at times act on behalf of/represent the views of the Chief Retail Banking Officer. Must work autonomously and look for opportunities to drive improvement and results across the Retail network.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the operating owner of all strategic and key projects with a broad range of top initiatives that span across the Retail network, ensuring goals are met within defined timeframe and with allocated resources. Oversee and ensure all Retail Banking initiatives are on track and status updates are provided to CRBO. Compilation of data from various business units, on-going validation of data, layout and content. Responsible for developing and executing communication plans, including meetings and other team events. Budget preparation and variance management; managing all aspects of MPC for Retail, including yearly budget preparation, input, roll up validation, coordination with Accounting, MPC input and monthly variance review and follow up with business units
  • Represent the office of CRBO, demonstrating the highest sense of integrity and commitment to excellence in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders. Closely partner with the Executive Assistant to optimize calendar around priorities and outcomes. Facilitate senior leadership meetings by planning agendas, preparing presentations, reports, and develop plans and action items.
  • Lead all Retail transformation efforts to automate and increase client digital experience in all branches to include: deposit and transaction automation and self-service, digitizing branch work flows, real-time processing, Wi-Fi optimization, Instant Issue protocols, tablet introduction, and use of PIN pads for client authentication. Partner with IT to research and implement evolving branch technologies, employees adoption and continuing education, client experience considerations, revenue enhancements and cost reduction, reduced error rates, faster processing times. Build out of full Universal Banker program to meet changing needs of clients and transform Branch workforce.
  • Implement an end-to-end digital lending solution for small business lines and loan that includes direct to small business/owner via Internet and Branch originated lending solutions. Partner with head of loan origination to streamline and simplifying business loan processes (application, underwriting, booking, servicing) to significantly increase production and reduce cycle times. Work with internal partners to develop processes to increase product knowledge and training associated with personal lending. Develop client needs-based sales process for introducing small business lending solutions. Develop fully compliant lending solutions in accordance with state and federal lending regulations.
  • Lead the implementation of an end-to-end digital lending solution for personal consumer loans/lines and home equity loans/lines that includes direct to consumer via Internet and Branch originated lending solutions. Partner with head of loan origination to streamline and simplifying business loan processes (application, underwriting, booking, servicing) to significantly increase production and reduce cycle times. . Work with internal partners to develop processes to increase product knowledge and training associated with personal lending. Develop client needs-based sales process for introducing consumer lending solutions. Develop fully compliant lending solutions in accordance with state and federal lending regulations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders within Retail, Operations, Sales, Technology, Human Resources, Training, and Marketing, as well as identified external vendors.

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA/graduate degree a plus with 7 to 10 years of business experience including several of the following areas: Project Management, Operations, Technology, Sales, Strategy, Communication, Finance and Marketing
