Funeral Director

We are currently seeking a Licensed Funeral Director with a current valid Texas License to start up a new Low Cost Funeral Home!  We are looking for someone to come in and start this new location! Everything is set and we’re seeking a Funeral Director In Charge. This is a position that interacts directly with client families and is responsible for creating and maintaining a premier level of client family satisfaction. They will perform a variety of tasks during funerals and visitations to help ensure that services run as smoothly as planned. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Funeral Director license required (1 year)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Great communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to assist families and others entering the facilities for information and services
• Detail oriented
• High level of compassion and integrity
• High level of comfort using computer systems
• High level of dedication and desire to succeed
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
• Creative, outgoing, and energetic
• Solid work history

• Remove and transports deceased from home or hospital to funeral home
• Prepare required reports on time
• Provide high levels of customer service to families
• Assist families with the selection of appropriate and desired merchandise and/or services, ensuring that all options have been presented
• Conduct memorial ceremonies in a professional, organized and caring manner consistent with company policies and procedures
