Field Vice President, NQDC Solutions Job Summary: The Field Vice President, Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation Solutions (NQDC Solutions) role is responsible for growing Mid-Market COLI sales within an assigned territory by maintaining, developing, and cultivating relationships with both internal and external sales entities. Working collaboratively with our primary TPA partner and our distribution channel teams, identify prospects for the development of Mid-Market COLI opportunities. Develop subject matter expertise for NQDC opportunity identification in all distribution channels. Provide plan design and product expertise with partners in selected distribution channels to develop and implement a localized marketing strategy to drive NQDC sales. The FVP owns the sales process (client validation, client meeting prep, client meeting, underwriting/new business and contract delivery support) with the Financial Advisor (FA) by providing concierge point of sale support. Promotes the Mid-Market COLI product line through effective presentations and meetings across their assigned territory. Acts as a marketing support and business development resource for the product line within the Home Office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Use product and sales knowledge/expertise to drive NQDC sales for targeted distribution channel opportunities and firms. Become the expert resource for all distribution systems and advisors with respect to mid-market COLI Executive Benefit sales. (60%) Work with the National Sales Manager to identify and approach key contacts and distribution channel opportunities with a need to drive NQDC sales directly to the FA. (15%) Know and understand TPA partner firm campaign strategies and train and sell based on partner’s campaigns. (10%) Lead Team of PL Recruiters in the areas of sales opportunity identification, coaching and development, and tracking individual sales goals. (15%)
Minimum Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 5 years COLI Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation sales experience. Successful Client Point of Sale Experience Strong knowledge of all Executive Benefits (COLI and non-COLI) products and marketplace. Strong knowledge of the NQDC design process Prior leadership or coaching experience preferred Must have solid presentation skills Must have strong technical comprehension skills Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Requires Series 6 & 63 licenses ** PSD REQUIREMENTS NEEDED Must be willing to travel up to 80% Working Conditions: List any hazardous or unpleasant working conditions, physical requirements, travel, or specific required work hours; i.e. able to sit for long periods of time, able to move a 50lb item, how much travel and where, on-call nights and weekends, etc. Travel can be Challenging and cause long hours. Customers needs can be demanding and may be requested after normal business hours. Fast-paced environment.
