Executive Assistant to the COO
We are looking for an Executive Assistant in our Boston Office to support our Chief Operating Officer with daily, in-person support regarding inbox, calendar, and expense management, travel planning and engagement scheduling, and a variety of other administrative tasks. While supporting one executive, this person will need to establish and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of groups, personalities, and dynamics.

This is an opportunity for someone who is genuinely excited by new technologies, passionate about empowering others to do their best, and has an interest in open source technologies, blockchain, and/or cryptocurrency.

Core Responsibilities

  • All aspects of calendar management including exercising judgment by filtering and prioritizing competing requests for time
  • Assist with inbox management, organizing and collating information and time for an in-demand executive
  • Travel planning and coordination with Marketing and Community Management regarding speaking opportunities and other engagements
  • Expense management for executive
  • Drafting communications, proofreading, and wordsmithing communications in close partnership with executive
  • Organizing and attending staff meetings and taking meeting minutes; sharing information with multiple audiences
  • Managing department-wide meetings and creating/editing presentations
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Be a key part of an inclusive environment that fosters collaboration and creativity both internally and externally
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 5-plus years of experience supporting high-level executive or senior staff, including inbox, calendar, and travel management
  • Strong verbal communication; highly interactive and able to quickly process auditory information
  • Excellent written communication; able to take verbal feedback and create and adjust communications accordingly
  • Demonstrable experience in exercising judgment when prioritizing information and scheduling
  • Creative, approachable, energetic, “can-do” attitude with ability to change direction in a dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize workload and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
  • Proven technical skills within Google Work Suite
  • Ability to work in the office during regular business hours
