Description

The role of Product Director is to oversee the creation of solutions that solve the more difficult and complex problems for our customers. By utilizing the agile methodology, the Product Director will work with customers, user experience professionals and engineers to develop concepts that leverage existing assets as well as develop new capabilities. And then lead it through the innovation process to test, refine, develop and deploy viable and customer delighting solutions.


Job Requirements

  • Lead the product lifecycle of new product solution development and champion solution to market
  • Create primary and secondary customer research program and conduct direct customer interviews
  • Articulate the customer problems, sentiment and position on market problems
  • Build and communicate understanding and design solutions to address new/growing market problems
  • Partner with user experience and technology teams to build prototypes to test solutions with customers and report on results
  • Partner with product portfolio team to optimize organization buy-in and readiness for strategic projects and vision
  • Ensure a global technical alignment for the portfolio
  • Develop and lead strategic project roadmaps and communicating with product leadership and other key stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment with strategic roadmaps for core product, technical and marketing aspects of all products in the portfolio
  • Serve as thought leader for product portfolio and strategic projects and topics


Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Must have 10+ years of product lifecycle management with emphasis on agile, customer centric design process and successful outcomes
  • Proven ability to frame complex questions and opportunities to enable quick and actionable decision-making
  • Extensive experience with enterprise software product management and Agile development processes.
  • Strong project management skills: ability to lead and collaborate with other functional groups, prioritize high impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward
  • College degree in a technical or business-related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to define strategic roadmap, to translate business problems into product requirements, and to launch products to customers.
  • Bachelor degree required. MBA or other advanced degree desired.
  • Pragmatic Marketing certification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – often does formal presentations for teams and/or leadership in a variety of formats
  • Strong technical acumen – can effectively partner with development teams to find new, creative solutions to problems and customer needs
  • Ability to travel
