Dogwood Village is looking for a Director of Employee Relations
Full time, salaried position. Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides on-site support in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, maintaining and monitoring all functions related to Human Resources; such as, employee benefits, FMLA, workers’ compensation, employee application process and new hire orientation. Ensures that proper administrative procedures and confidentiality thereof are maintained and are in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, facility policies and procedures and accepted principles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 3-5 years previous HR and/or Payroll experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with automated time and attendance systems and/or human resource information systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software products, including Word, Excel and calendar programs.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with residents, staff and family members.
