Director of Client Engagement

Paragus is seeking a fun-loving Director of Client Engagement to join our family and lead our team of Account Relationship Managers. This team acts as the bridge between our clients and the rest of our company; driving things like strategy and satisfaction and making sure Paragus is doing a great job of identifying and solving our customers technology challenges. We are looking for an individual with excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal, who knows their stuff when it comes to building strong relationships, developing and leading passionate employees, and jumping in to tackle escalated or complicated problems. The ability to multi-task, stay focused under pressure and be highly organized is of the utmost importance. We want people who are smart, creative, and willing to share their ideas about how we can make Paragus an even better company.
At present, this Director would oversee 5 Account Relationship Managers and approximately 115 small business clients. However, we seek an individual who is excited and ready to help us continue to grow and realize our vision for the future.
Summary:
The Director of Client Engagement is responsible for the success of Paragus’ Client Engagement Team. This team is comprised of Account Relationship Managers who are each assigned a portfolio of 15-25 small business clients. The team serves as the bridge between Paragus and each of our clients – providing strategy, account oversight, high-level communication, and helping to solve business needs with technology solutions.
Ultimately, the Director of Client Engagement is accountable to make sure our clients are being well served by Paragus in a way that is mutually beneficial to both parties.
Role Accountabilities:
- Developing, leading, managing, and holding accountable our Account Relationship Managers
- Client satisfaction and retention
- Maximizing our ability to match the products and services we provide with our clients needs
- Creating and maintaining processes that setup the CE team for success
Role Responsibilities:
- To lead your team by example, providing a compelling vision and clear direction
- Effectively delegates tasks to ensure deadlines are met
- Work collaboratively with our other departments to drive broader company success
- Providing training and development to our Account Relationship Managers
Requirements:
- Experience working with small and medium sized business owners in a consulting capacity
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and on the job training
- 3-4 years of supervisory experience managing direct reports
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
- Ability to meet deadlines and juggle many competing priorities
Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000
