Overview
You’ll be joining the Client Lifecycle Management team (CLM) that sits within the Operations function of the Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) division of Deutsche Bank. CLM plays an integral part in the firm’s first line of defense against financial crime by defining and sustaining Client Record Data for CIB through the Know Your Client – (KYC) lifecycle and working closely with the Business and Anti Financial Crime (AFC) to ensure that their requirements are met to create pristine Client Records. As a Business Manager in our CLM Operations team, you will be accountable to assist in the delivery of projects within agreed scope, timelines and costs. You will support in corporate strategy projects, operations improvement, organizational transformation as well as traditional development projects for Investment Banking Operations.

Your Role
What You’ll Do:
- Undertaking yearly budgeting and monthly forecasting, including working with Finance to prepare and submit regular updates with commentary
- Ownership of the monthly CLM functional business management review process, supporting respective functional and regional CLM business manages to drive transparency of intra-year vendor spend and headcount trends, issues and actions
- You will also maintain headcount data to allow for accurate forecasting and planning requirements and having full knowledge and understanding of headcount to direct business management with resource requirements throughout the year
- Oversight and governance across vendor engagements, ensuring spend within budget, in line with vendor strategy, adherence to Purchasing policy and appropriate accrued
- Building robust relationships with all stakeholders (including Senior Management) and high level of interaction and relationship building with Finance and CIB COO
How You’ll Lead:
- Develop and maintain a detailed KYC cost forecast model, leveraging client perimeter, service center productivity, embedding into budget forecasting and operational SLAs
- Work closely with senior management of CLM
- Reporting Ad-hoc, where requested in the form of assisting in creation of Steering Committee / ExCo presentations and supporting COO
Skills You’ll Need:
- Prior working experience in Operations, Business Management Team, or in Technology managing headcount and budget a significant advantage
- Proven track record of senior stakeholder management and influencing across a diverse range of geographies and functions
- A proven track record of project management and delivery
- Proficiency with MS Office
