Position Summary:

The Architectural Project Manager reports to the Director of Architecture. This position works closely with La Macchia’s Architects and Designers – providing support, coordination and interpretation of projects. This position will assist the Director of Architecture in establishing standards and project specifications. The following duties and responsibilities represent the essential functions of this position:


Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Coordinates with structural, MEP engineers and outside consultants.
  • Understanding of building code analysis.
  • In collaboration with the Architects and Designers, interprets concepts and drawings.
  • Coordinates concepts and drawings with Project Designers to produce construction documents that reflects and maintains the intent of the design concept.
  • Responsible for construction document coordination and production – preparing and presenting design proposals by using AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit.
  • Responsible for construction project administration – including change orders, shop drawing review, contractor questions and solving any issues that arise.
  • Assists the Director of Architecture in establishing overall standards and project specifications.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, AutoCAD and SketchUp. Revit experience is a plus!


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) in Architecture is preferred.
  • 10 years related experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience previously listed.
