Warehouse Floor Manager

Job Summary

Warehouse Floor Manager. The leader for our warehouse floor team responsible for all warehouse operations/ profitability and driving continuous improvement/growth for GLC by committing/embracing the THREE PILLARS of SUCCESS.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Previous warehouse management required.

· Overseas all warehouse operations/ activities.

· Knowledge of cargowise warehouse system preferred.

· Responsible for all warehouse overhead expenses including but not limited to: labor, warehouse supplies/equipment, pallets, materials,etc.

· Responsible to review/update/maintain warehouse rules/policies/procedures and ensure compliance.

· Direct report to for all warehouse supervisors/ floor team and laborers. Includes performance reviews/ hiring/ termination/ disciplinary action and maintaining all HR compliances.

· Responsible for the safety initiatives in the warehouse to maintain a safe workplace throughout the warehouse.

· Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory for all customers.

· Responsible for establishing and maintaining KPI’s to track team movements/operations and time toward improving overall efficiency

· Responsible for reviewing/updating/maintaining warehouse customer charges and for all warehouse related opportunities/quoting.

· Responsible for warehouse department financial review including reviewing P & L and department level profitability. Essentially responsible for warehouse profitability as a whole.

· Responsible to maintain clean facilities including ensuring floors are swept/ all debris/trash removed and a clean work environment is upheld as the standard everyday.

· Responsible for developing / maintaining/updating additional information technology ( IT) requirements to improve efficiency including automation by working with our IT team.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000.00 to $85,000.00 /year

• Pallet Jack: 3 years (Required)
• Customer Service: 3 years (Required)
• warehouse: 3 years (Required)
• Warehouse Management: 3 years (Preferred)

Location:

• Redlands, CA (Required)

License:

• Forklift Certified (Required)
