Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish clear expectations for the projects including but not limited to project kick-offs with internal and external stakeholders, Tech and Costs, Project Charters, Schedules
  • Establish regular communication patterns with the customer to include weekly calls, email summaries, updated project plans, and quarterly project reviews
  • Prepare and distribute executive summaries and project briefs as needed
  • Hold internal and external resources to project milestones and deliverables
  • Translate new and existing client requirements into technical solutions by working closely with other internal resources and stakeholders
  • Meet client deliverables from an end product and timeline perspective
  • Utilize technical and project management skills to ensure the systems are configured appropriately and on schedule
  • Create client-facing user guides and support in creating training materials and training new client users
  • Hold weekly meetings and daily scrums as needed with technical resources and document progress, risks, and issues
  • Perform analysis of hardware/software solutions, conduct market research and technical evaluations, support in vendor demonstrations
Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum DoD Secret Clearance
  • 5 + years of hands on experience with Technical Project Management in a DOD environment
  • Extensive Knowledge of project management processes, systems development methods, organizational change management concepts, and business process improvement methods
  • Ability to create and manage a technical project road map with high level delivery milestones to manage stakeholder expectations
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office to include Project
  • Excellent written and oral communication with the ability to brief executive stakeholders
  • Technical knowledge of operating systems, servers, network infrastructure, and software development

Preferred Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams on building out IT infrastructure and software development
  • Experience with IT infrastructure components to include, Operating Systems, Servers, Network, and Storage
  • Knowledge and experience with A&A (NIST RMF), security stack components (e.g. firewall, IDS/IPS, AV), cyber directives (e.g. TASKORDs, CTOs, etc.)
  • Understanding of COMSEC and Tactical deployments
  • Knowledge of client deployments on a windows infrastructure, i.e. OU’s, GPO’s, STIGs
  • Understanding of Hypervisors to include VMWare
  • Knowledge in Cloud to include AWS
  • Knowledge in Software Development
  • PMP Certification
  • CAPM Certification
  • ITIL Certification
