Site Safety Manager

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

* Must have last 5 years (2014 to Present) of continuous safety job experience

* Must have minimum of 8 hours of validated safety training each year (2014 to Present) past 5 years

* Must show certification, cards (PROOF OF TRAINING) for validated minimum of 8 hours of safety training each year (2014 to Present) past 5 years

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

* Must hold current Site Safety Manager License

* Must have OSHA 30 certificate

* Completion of the 40 hour NYCDOB Site Safety Manager Course (preferred)

* Must have deep understanding of construction industry

* Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

Job Description Summary:

Looking for a full time Site Safety Manager who is responsible for ensuring safe work conditions and compliance with safety regulations and procedures/OSHA standards. Salary will be determined based on experience.

Job Duties

· Perform safety inspections to ensure that safety regulations are being followed.

· Daily safety reports/assessments

· Pre-task Planning/ Job Hazard Analysis

· Onsite Safety Orientations

· Observe and inspect job sites, machinery, and equipment to ensure safe environment free from any hazards

· Tool box Talks

· Prepare accident reports and perform corresponding investigation

· Observe and ensure workers are complying with safety standards on site, including the use of proper protective equipment, clothing

· Other safety related duties that are assigned

· Good communication skills, both verbal and written

· Dependable

· Team-player

· Computer efficient and knowledge of Microsoft Office

Compensation, Salary:

· $75,000 to $82,000 per year

· Salary depending on experience

Schedule:

· Full-time, Monday to Friday

· Paid time off for holidays, vacation
