Scrum Master/Product Manager for B2B Software Company NYC

Intelligent organized agile project/product manager who will get to work with incredible clients on amazing projects. The primary goals are to improve and deliver on products. There is interaction with clients as well as developers. The idea is to work with clients and insure that we are delivering every project/product on time, within budget and within scope.

Responsibilities:

• Act as Scrum Master for multiple teams, providing a learning environment to deliver business value
• Develop a deep understanding of our products and vision to help guide our team
• Challenge, coach, and guide the organization using agile and lean principles
• Emphasize code quality through small, focused user stories; assist teams with a hands-on servant leader approach from inception to delivery of our work
• Ability to utilize agile methods in a flexible manner that often includes project management, adapting to the specific needs of the organization (which can include hard deadlines/fixed dates at times), and creatively problem solving
• Experiment with and integrate processes and tools that encourage continuous improvement
• Create metrics to provide teams and the organization with relevant feedback
• Coordinate internal resources and partners for the flawless execution of projects
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools (we provide)
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks

REQUIREMENTS

• Very good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering
• Proven working experience in project management in the information technology sector
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Working knowledge of issue tracking

Salary: $70,000.00 to $95,000.00 /year
