Rôle et Responsabilités
Detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to be in charge of all quality assurance activities in Protocol Team
Individual will make/coordinate the each project’s schedule (entry & approval) and test plan as well as report to HQ or internal team the risk points such as blocking issues before launch or carrier entry date
Individual will also create protocol related Testcase, verify issues, perform Sanity test in order to ensure there is no unidentified problems.
To be successful as a Quality Assurance Manager in Protocol team, you should have very good knowledge in IMS core and network feature and need to be very detailed and thorough in order to understand the network requirement from different network.
Understand requirements of NR(5G)/LTE(4G) network features & functions especially from each carrier or from competitors
Review new network functions and features and correctly translate them into Test designs and setups and proof Test cases
Designing and implementing test strategies, test plans, functional and performance test cases, policies, infrastructures
Set up test plans to meet deadlines based on given request by project lead
Able to determine risk items based on issues found during the test
Analyze and manage issues detected by QA engineers to professionally present issues reports
Tests new call features to ensure that features and performances are correct and test results are accurate
Create reports based on the issues detected during testing and able to follow up with issues until it gets fully resolved by R&D
Coordinate with HQ R&D, network Engineers, and carriers to ensure all IMS related features are fully tested and functional based on the features supported
Identify the required documentation and process for the project.
Analyze test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications
Manage translation of complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design.
Responsible for the managing over-all systems architecture, reliability, and performance in the field of engineers
Managing test requirements through scheduling external out-sourcing to perform required testing
Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths skill sets and experience levels
Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plan; implementing production, productivity, quality and customer-server-standards; resolving problems, completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in CS, CE, and EE or equivalent level of work experience
8+ years of experience in wireless industry preferably in Mobile QA
Proven Experience in QA life cycle, test plans, test executing and reporting
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of wireless technologies including GSM/CDMA/WCDMA/LTE/5G and Radio Interface and/or exposure to RF network engineering, etc.
Familiar with 5G technologies is a plus including, but not limited to mmWave/Sub6 and Beamforming
Excellent knowledge in LTE features including VoLTE/ViLTE/VoWiFi/RCS messages/OTA Activation
Expert in utilizing log capturing and processing Tools: QXDM/QCAT/Wireshark/WindCatcher/Actix/XCAP-M with good understanding in OTA signaling messages
Experience with Spirent/Metrico Tools: NOMAD/MUSE/Datum
Excellent knowledge in Advanced LTE features including but not limited to QAM, LAA, Carrier Aggregation, MIMO, Beam Forming
Expert in IMS SIP (Session Initiated Protocol), VoLTE & IR94 call processing.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills, communication(verbal and written) skills, and organizational and documentation skills
Clear understanding of carrier specific test cases & testing methods
Strong leadership qualities that has proven record of efficiency and success
Capable of managing several high profile programs and project activities to completion
Prepare launch go/no go checklists and create contingency plans. Provide Project updates to management that include progress, risks, issues and mitigation recommendation
