TENAX Technologies is looking for a Project Manager with Quality Control and Safety experience to join our growing team as a salaried employee in Maryland. The ideal candidate has experience working with the Corps of Engineers, low voltage cabling and the Department of Defense.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Project Manager

The Project Manager is dual hatted in quality and site safety, responsible for managing the complete life cycle of simple to moderately complex projects, including approval, planning, estimating, execution, and closeout to ensure planned results are successfully achieved and in a timely manner. In addition to having excellent leadership skills, the ideal candidate will also possess an extensive background in the engineering community.
JOB DUTIES:
- Oversee quality and safety of technical and sub-contract employees.
- Develop and implement Design Quality Control Plan (DQCP) for each project. Responsible for quality, technical accuracy and coordination of all design documents.
- Services new and existing customers and communicates project status to the manager. Builds and maintains appropriate customer service relationships.
- Support project scheduling, coordination with trades and financial management.
- Works and maintains relations with vendors/ customers to establish and achieve goals.
- Acts as a secondary point of contact for project status, by maintaining communication with stakeholders.
- Provides research and leadership in the development and design of new projects.
- Coordinates with other work streams, projects, and initiatives which may impact successful completion of project.
- Supports and attends regular project team meetings to action items and project schedule.
- Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of related quality experience work .
- At least 2 years of Project Management experience.
- Capable of reading blueprints and associated building information.
- Will require “Construction Quality Management for Contractors” course within the last 5 years. Training can be taken after hire but before working on projects.
- Ability to work effectively with co-workers and satisfy customer requests.
- Leader who is able to align, direct, motivate and grow teams and clients.
