Responsible for management and execution of a large technical contract.
Oversees and manages the Operations project(s) and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Prepares project execution plan and identifies technical and business resources needed.
Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
Interacts frequently with internal and external senior level executives and customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, contracts, and strategies. Is comfortable leading briefings and high level meetings.
Provides program/portfolio leadership for new business development, capture strategies, and proposals. Demonstrates the ability to navigate within different cultural frameworks, and interfaces with suppliers, customers, and senior leadership to achieve new business performance objectives.

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
- Previous Program/project management expertise. Customer relations management expertise. Financial management expertise and experience executing to revenue and profit targets.
- Previous experience with personnel leadership and management of a diverse team.
- Ability to develop creative solutions to highly complex problems involving internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Skills and Education
- Program Management Professional (PMP) Certificate
- Candidate should have BS and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters and 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
