Tibetan Buddhist temple seeks an experienced marketing director to develop a strategy and methodology for increasing attendance at an exciting series of religious and cultural events planned at the temple for 2020. Both traditional methods and various social media will be used for outreach in English, Chinese, and Tibetan languages. The candidate will advise existing temple staff in executing that strategy maximizing a modest advertising and outreach budget. Working hours and days are flexible, with two or sometimes one day per month expected. Physical presence for meetings at the temple is required.
