Bondhus is looking for a Manufacturing Manager, primary duties include:

• Oversee all production employees including Shift Leads, Tool Room staff, building maintenance staff, & machine operators; approx. 40 people
• Plan, direct, & lead manufacturing operations of 24/7 facility
• Develop and use manufacturing resources in scheduling production to meet needs of distribution and assembly departments
• Supervise staff including interviewing, training, performance appraisals, disciplining, & terminating employees
• Establish and continually improve on performance standards (quantity and quality)
• Develop and maintain written department operating procedures
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance plans for all major machinery, grounds, and all major operating systems
• Develop and maintain a clean, safe, secure workplace including enforcing & ensuring training on safety rules & procedures for employees
• Provide positive leadership and conflict resolution and facilitate team spirit and cooperation
• Participate in development of yearly plan, budget estimates and objectives

Job Qualifications

• HS education, 2+ years post-secondary education, + 8 years of manufacturing or similar experience
• Supervision experience required
• Experience with planning, purchasing and budgeting required
• Experience leading staff responsible for repairs of machinery and building systems a plus
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred
• Excellent communication/negotiation skills
• Team player with training and coaching skills
