Funeral Director, 1 year (Preferred)
Duties: Arrange and conduct life celebration experiences. This requires some planning and creative thinking. Applicant will be required to enter information into TDAW, EDRS, contact local clergy, cemeteries and other organizations as needed, check on deceased or urn, making sure room is set up for Life Celebration experiences as well as perform on-call responsibilities including:
Taking first calls, talking to families, conducting removals, performing embalmings.
Experience: Must hold current Virginia Funeral Directors and Embalmers License or be able to obtain one.
Skills: Candidate must be able to communicate well, multitask, conduct themselves in a professional manor, be a team player and have a good driving record. Candidate should also be creative, embrace celebrating lives and have a willingness to learn.
