The HR Project Manager is responsible for overseeing delivery of HR project activity associated with business change initiatives. Reporting to the VP of HR, and working closely

with the HR team, the role will blend both knowledge of HR process and best practice with a clear understanding of project management tools. The role will also play an integral part in ensuring the management, analysis, and communication of key people data and management information.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the successful execution of the annual HR Strategy plan, ensuring key milestones are achieved and projects are delivered on time and within budget. Includes organizing appropriate resources inside and outside the department, tracking project progress, and reporting status and results to the VP of HR and company leaders.
  • Responsible for the companywide communication plan involving HR projects.
  • Facilitates the development of the annual HR strategic plan.
  • Leads the Employee Engagement Survey and action planning process.
  • Manages, analyzes, and communicates to leadership key employee data and management information.
  • Mentors and coaches team members on project management tools and skills, as well as providing subject matter expertise on HR programs and business capabilities.
  • Maintains business relationships in order to successfully and effectively provide

positive and engaging customer service to employees and managers.

  • Initiates and takes part in activities to support Kelly-Moore as an employer of choice.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in English.
  • Ability to work a regular schedule in an open office environment.
  • Ability to occasionally carry, relocate and/or lift up to 15-pound cartons and containers.
  • Ability to use office equipment such as scanners, copiers and printers.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work independently.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing complex cross-functional projects within a similar industry and work environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management tools.
  • Experience working in an HR function with basic knowledge of employee labor laws in the locations the company operates in preferred.
  • Experience in creating program structure, content, and measurements to analyze success.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organization, facilitation, and

time management skills.

  • Intermediate to advanced skill with computer and software applications.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office sufficient to prepare correspondence

using email and word processing, prepare pdf forms, create presentations, and create and spreadsheets using advanced formulas.

  • Possess good problem-solving skills and decision making skills.
  • Superior listening skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, team-oriented environment.
  • Valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, ability to travel to off-site locations as business needs dictate.
