Head of Strategy & Operations

YOUR TASK AND CHALLENGES

You will lead the finance management for LATAM Breeding Operations: the annual operational expenditures and Capital Investments.

You will lead the building of South America Breeding Operational Plan based on current areas/process, aligned to Budget and ensuring the design and implementations of all changes needed to effectively and proactively support successful Breeding programs and operations.

You will design and coordinate the integration/transformation process (innovation, cultural, etc) among different countries of LATAM Region in terms of processes, reporting, operation standards, KPI´s. Maintain strategic global functional partnership as needed.

This role act as Chief of Staff of LATAM Breeding Leadership team, leading the alignment of cross-functional initiatives, projects, plans, agendas, corporate affairs, community engagement and any other representative topic,

You will lead an effective compliance model to assure freedom to operate along the region including legal guidance, administration processes and company policies to enable proper and effective executions within sites and remote locations.

You will have to ensure ongoing synergies analysis to develop operational practices among sites, operations, programs and countries.

WHO YOU ARE

Education: B.S./B.A. degree as minimum requirement; MBA, M.A./M.S. degree preferred

Five or more years of experience in leading strategies and/or providing operational support to large business or technology teams that are multi-culture and have multiple locations across the globe

Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to balance the big picture with great attention to detail.

Self-starter with the ability to work without daily supervision and be comfortable with ambiguity to drive results

Excellent communication and lead through influence skills.

Capability to perform in a fast-paced working environment and work on parallel tasks that may have competing priorities.

Proven success in developing teams and culture, both inside and outside of own organization, to achieve business goals and improve performance.
